Live event illustration that draws a crowd

Forget boring, seen-it-before entertainment and generic throwaway merch. I hand-draw your guests in real time, giving them personalised, keep-forever artwork that leaves a lasting impression of your brand long after the event ends.

Live illustration turns your event into an experience

When you’re planning a brand event, the real challenge isn’t filling the room, it’s creating something guests will talk about and remember afterward.

You want something that ticks all the boxes:

  • An Instagrammable, shareable moment that gets people chatting about your brand on and offline

  • An immersive experience that makes guests feel part of the event, not just another name on the list

  • A branded keepsake they’ll actually want to keep (no forgettable freebies in sight!)

Drawn there and then, right in the middle of the action, live illustration gives people something to gather around, something to take part in, and something personal to leave with, all while keeping your brand firmly in the picture.

How it works

Your brand event is in ink-redible hands

Live event artist Linda Byrne for Regatta event with Giovanna Fletcher in Dublin

YES, it’s Giovanna Fletcher!

She’s sooo lovely

Organising an event can be full-on. There’s a lot to think about, a lot to coordinate, and a lot riding on it all coming together on the day.

The good news? With years of experience working with brands, agencies and event teams, I know how to slip into the flow of a room and make the process seamless and stress-free from start to finish.

Here’s what that looks like on the day:

  • A zero fuss set-up
I bring everything I need and set up in a small space that blends comfortably into the room. Surrounded by colourful pens, paper and finished pieces, I’ll add to the atmosphere without taking over.

  • Drawn live, by hand, in the moment
I sketch guests as individuals or in pairs, usually from the waist up, using black ink with pops of colour to capture each guest's style and personality.

  • No vibe-killing queues
Each portrait takes around 6–10 minutes. Just enough time for a chat, a quick breather from the crowd, and then guests are straight back into the event.

  • Branded keepsakes that feels personal, not promotional

  • Every illustration is drawn on A5 paper featuring your logo and chosen header or footer, so each piece doubles as a personal keepsake and a gentle reminder of your brand.

Meet your live event illustrator

Hi, I’m Linda. I’ve worked with brands, agencies, publishers and organisations across Ireland on everything from campaign visuals and editorial features to concept artwork and creative projects.

My style is expressive, inky and full of character. Think: loose lines, playful little details, and a hand-drawn feel that gives each piece real personality. No two projects ever look the same, because each one is shaped around the story it’s there to tell.

Live Event Illustration - FAQ

So let me make things easier for you and answer all of your live illustration questions - and if you don’t see your question here, drop me a note and I’ll be happy to help!

  • It depends on the length of the event, but as a guide, each portrait takes around 6–10 minutes. I’m happy to chat through your timings and guest numbers beforehand and give you a realistic idea of what’s possible, so you know exactly what to expect.

  • Not usually. People tend to pop over when it suits them, and it flows naturally throughout the event. Because the sketches are quick, guests can step in, have their portrait drawn, and head back to the party without missing much.

  • Very little. I bring everything I need with me. All I usually need is a small space to work from and, if possible, a chair or two for guests to sit while I draw. I’ll work with your team beforehand to make sure everything runs smoothly.

  • If the event is very busy or you’d like to include guests who can’t sit for a portrait on the day, drawing from photos can be an option. We can talk through what would work best for your event.

  • Absolutely! All portraits are drawn on A5 paper that can include your logo and a custom header or footer design. It’s a subtle way to tie each piece back to your brand without it feeling too promotional.

  • Easy! Fill in my booking form with a few details about your event and I’ll take it from there.
