1. Booking
Booking deposit of agreed amount secures event booking. An agreed date will be arranged for fee balance.
2. Drawing Time
A) I will arrive at venue and set up a half hour before the agreed start time. I would advise Clients to make the venue aware, so they are prepared with a desk height table and three chairs.
B) I will be available to illustrate guest’s for the allocated time period agreed with Client.
C) If a Client requires a certain guest(s) to be sketched please inform me prior to the event and also make the guest(s) aware that they must approach me during the time that I have been hired to sketch.
3. Additional Cost
Any additional illustrations requested outside the agreed time or sent via email after the event will incur an additional fee per illustration.
4. Text Option Approval
A week before the event date, I will send three text options to the Client for approval. Once the Client has checked spelling, date and approved their desired design, I will not be responsible for any text or date inaccuracies.
5. Travel Expenses
Travel expenses applied to venues outside the north Leinster region at a rate of 0.40c/km travelled. Full quote will be provided if this is required.
6. Termination of Contract
Should the Client decide to terminate services, or cancel a commission the Client will lose their deposit.
7. Cancellation
In the unlikely event that I can not attend, due to exceptional circumstances, a full refund of the deposit and balance will be issued.
8. Use of Work
As a standard practice, work completed by Linda Byrne must not be altered or used by the Client for anything other than that for which it was originally commissioned without prior written approval. Personal bespoke illustrations can not be usedfor business purposes (blogs, websites, logos, etc.) Other uses will incur a further fee payable by the Client
9. Credits & Copyright
As is standard practice, Linda Byrne will retain authorship of the work. Work published will bear a credit unless otherwise agreed by the Client. Legal copyright or other rights of artwork and design etc. will remain the property of Linda Byrne unless otherwise agreed and negotiated. Other uses will incur a further fee payable by the Client.
